Mobile Optimization

In modern times, our phones hold the knowledge we immediately seek in the palm of our hands. A mini computer at our disposal whenever we please. Hence why I decided to mobile optimize my webpage. I wanted the ability to offer my website at any point, knowing that it would be functional if I were to meet a potential employer at a location where a laptop is not present and I needed to share my ePortfolio.

Everything transferred relatively fine, with the exception of a few small errors. For starters, the photos were incredibly enlarged, which made it hard to maneuver the app and covered the written pieces of the mobile app. I had to downsize the images and move the placement to maintain the photos, while making it easier to read. I also made all the text larger so it was easier to read. Lastly, my links did not transfer well into the app as it would open multiple tabs at once. Which was not a major issue but I know for some, it can be annoying having an app or website opening multiple tabs.

These changes make my ePortfolio much stronger, useful and more accessible. I can share it whenever with whoever, knowing that it functions efficiently.
